Effective Date: July 10, 2026
Thank you for choosing Pau Pilau Bins. These Terms & Conditions outline the policies and expectations for all services provided by Pau Pilau Bins. By purchasing, scheduling, or receiving services from Pau Pilau Bins, you agree to these terms.
1. Services Provided
Pau Pilau Bins provides professional curbside trash bin cleaning services, including high-pressure washing, sanitizing, and deodorizing of residential waste containers.
Our goal is to provide a cleaner, fresher, and more sanitary trash bin. Cleaning results may vary depending on the age, condition, and prior use of each bin.
2. Cleaning Results Disclaimer
Pau Pilau Bins will make every reasonable effort to thoroughly clean each bin; however, we do not promise or guarantee complete removal of all stains, discoloration, odors, residue, or buildup.
Some conditions may not be fully removable, including but not limited to:
• Permanent staining
• Long-term residue buildup
• Grease, chemicals, paint, or other substances
• Odors absorbed into plastic materials
• Damage, deterioration, or aging of the bin
Each bin is different, and final results depend on the existing condition of the bin before cleaning.
3. Bin Access Requirements
Customers are responsible for ensuring bins are accessible on the scheduled service day.
Bins must:
• Be placed in the designated service location.
• Be empty before service.
• Have no remaining trash, liquids, or personal belongings inside.
Pau Pilau Bins does not remove, empty, or dispose of trash from customer bins. Customers are responsible for disposing of waste according to applicable local Hawaii waste disposal requirements before service.
If a bin is not accessible, cannot be serviced, or service cannot be completed due to customer-related circumstances, a trip fee or no-access fee may apply.
A service appointment may be marked as completed if our team arrives at the scheduled location and is unable to perform the cleaning due to circumstances outside of Pau Pilau Bins’ control, including but not limited to:
• Bins not being placed out for service
• Blocked or inaccessible service areas
• Bins containing trash or prohibited materials
• Unsafe conditions preventing service completion
Completed service appointments are not eligible for refunds or credits.
4. Subscription Plans & Minimum Service Commitment
All recurring subscription plans require a minimum commitment of two completed service visits.
Customers who cancel a subscription before completing the minimum two visits agree to pay for the remaining required service visit(s) according to their selected service plan.
For example, if a customer enrolls in a quarterly subscription plan and cancels after the first completed cleaning, the customer remains responsible for the second required service.
If a scheduled service is marked as completed due to customer-related circumstances, including but not limited to inaccessible bins, bins not being placed out for service, blocked access, or bins containing trash or prohibited materials, that visit will count toward the customer’s minimum service commitment.
All subscription plans automatically renew until canceled.
5. Prepaid Plans
Prepaid service plans are paid in full upfront and automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date.
Prepaid plans are non-refundable once purchased or once service has begun.
Customers may cancel future automatic renewals before the next billing cycle.
6. Payments & Refunds
Customers authorize Pau Pilau Bins to charge the payment method provided according to the selected service plan.
No refunds will be issued for completed services.
If a customer has a concern regarding service quality, they should contact Pau Pilau Bins so we can review the situation and work toward a reasonable resolution.
7. Bin Condition & Liability
Pau Pilau Bins is not responsible for:
• Existing damage, cracks, weak plastic, defects, or deterioration of customer-provided bins or municipality-issued bins.
• Damage caused by normal wear and tear.
• Pre-existing conditions that affect cleaning results.
Many residential waste containers are owned, provided, or maintained by local municipalities. Pau Pilau Bins does not control the age, condition, replacement schedule, or maintenance of these containers.
8. Hazardous Materials
Customers must not place hazardous materials, chemicals, sharp objects, or unsafe substances inside bins before service.
Pau Pilau Bins reserves the right to refuse service if unsafe conditions exist.
9. Weather & Service Changes
Service schedules may be adjusted due to severe weather, equipment issues, holidays, traffic, or circumstances outside of our control.
Pau Pilau Bins will make reasonable efforts to communicate any schedule changes.
10. Changes to Terms
Pau Pilau Bins reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website.
